[pct-l] 2016 thru-hike possibly

From San Diego you take the bus using Yogi's guide or near to hike time you connect with the trail angels that shuttle massive numbers of hikers each year. Those TA's are also listed in Yogi's book and they usually make themselves known on the list as you get closer to hike time. 
Unless something has changed you can no longer hike from Manning Park south on the trail. You have to get to Mazama hike north to the border then turn around and go south.
